The 33rd Conference "Biomaterials in Medicine and Veterinary Medicine" was held on October 10-13, 2024 in Rytro. The event was organized by the Polish Society for Biomaterials (PSB) in cooperation with the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics at AGH (WIMiC AGH). The Organizing Committee was chaired by Prof. Elżbieta Pamuła - President of the Polish Society for Biomaterials. More than 100 people from Poland and abroad participated in the meeting.

Polish Society for Biomaterials (PSB) was founded in 1996 by the group of people working in the field of materials science and medicine. The aim of the PSB is to promote fundamental or applied research in biomaterials. In 2004, Polish Society for Biomaterials became officially affiliated to the European Society for Biomaterials.
